We will highlight tribal and legislative updates from representatives from Oneida Nation, Navajo Nation, Turtle Mountain, Kansas, Minnesota Department of Agriculture, including: Muriel Young Bear, Daniel Guzman, Marc Grignon, Ernie Stevens III, Ira Vandever, Lydelle Davies, Winona LaDuke, Alex White Plume, Christina Haswood, Sheldon Thomas, Roy Kady, Cindy Maughan from First Nation Sourcing, Roman Vyskocil, Sergyi Kovalenkov, Erin Axelrod from LIFT Economy, Davina Smith from IndigCANN, Travis Andrews, Hunter Buffington from Hemp Feed Coalition, and MaryJane Oatman from THC Magazine! We will have discussions around the hemp materials economy including hempcrete/hemplime and hempfiber, value-added discussions such as soil remediation and products, the tribal history of hemp, and much more! Friday evening we will feature the film, GATHER and discussion with film director, Sanjay Rawal, as well as Twila Cassadore (San Carlos Apache) and Nephi Craig (White Mountain Apache). This year we will feature demonstrations, arts & crafts for youth, Saturday night entertainment with Dancing Earth Creations and Blue Mountain Tribe, and will hold space for networking!
