Winona LaDuke is not only a world-renowned indigenous rights activist focused on sustainable development, but she is also a farmer. In this talk, LaDuke references prophecies of indigenous peoples, and the importance of taking a biodiverse path to help the earth. Change is inevitable – whether that’s the green path we could have or the well-worn path we’re currently on. LaDuke champions that individuals should collectively be in control of that change, and we should be in an economy based on cooperation, not competition.

The two day event - which included tours of regenerative cannabis farms, on-site “glamping”, fireside chats, and farm-to-table meals paired with Flow Kana’s sun-grown cannabis - featured TED Talk-style presentations and panel discussions exploring the critical role cannabis holds as a link between people, science and medicine, environmental health, human creativity and productivity, future building materials, regenerative farming and social justice.
